New GM Models are Already in the Works All the new GM models feature significantly improved interior design and materials, but none more so than two new Saturn cars that go on sale in 2006. The angular Saturn Sky roadster also sets the tone for a new sportier persona for the brand. Saturn will also add a roomy midsize sedan with a plush interior and rakish exterior design next year.

Opel's Ion: Delta-Plaform-Based 2004 Astra Set to Debut Opel's fifth-generation Astra, the second model built on General Motors' global front-wheel-drive Delta platform, debuts at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Sister car to the Saturn Ion, the five-door hatchback also will be sold under the company's Vauxhall badge beginning next spring.
