Nitish Rele, automotive columnist from the Tampa Tribune: A 2.4-liter DOHC Ecotec inline-4 cylinder engine offers 169 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 160 pounds-feet of torque at 4500 rpm. It is mated to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission but can be manually operated via shifter paddles on the three-spoke steering wheel. Front suspension duties fall on a capable MacPherson strut with aluminum L-shaped control arms. A four-link independent system with monotube shocks and coil springs takes control in the rear of the vehicle. The car is equipped with an unswerving hydraulic rack-and-pinion steering system. Slowing down the Aura are 11.65-inch ventilated front and 10.6-inch solid brake rotors in the rear shod inside 17-inch alloy wheels.
