Many friends are making their own one-day 'One Lap' road trips to visit the team at various tracks. Fans are welcome at all of the race sites. The team loves Saturn Fans so stop by and say hello. If you can’t make the trip you can phone or e-mail the team.

On May 4, 2002, Saturn Performance Club members gathered in Chicago and traveled to Indianapolis Raceway Park in Indianapolis IN. This was the day that the track events would begin for the famous 19th Annual One Lap of America race, and we were heading down to spectate and cheer on the Saturn team.

The coupe was 1st in class and 27th overall. The L200 blew a piston and left the track in a blaze of smoke.

SC1 finishes 1st in class and 27th overall; the L-Series scores with 4th in class and 21st place overall!

The race itself doesn't feel like a reality yet. Right now its all about people for the Saturn race team.

Friday it was all about people for the Saturn One Lap Race Team. Saturday it was all about time.

Sunday it was all about caring for the Saturn One Lap Team. The Media Team used OnStar to report a vehicle accident outside St. Louis.

Monday it was all about teamwork, and the teamwork displayed by Saturn of Albuquerque was over the top.

Last night the team had a short 350 mile drive to New Mexico. It's pretty amazing when 350 miles becomes a short trip.

The coupe maintained 1st in class and 28th overall; the L200 had two strong finishes placing 23rd overall.

The team got only two hours of sleep last night, but that hasn't seem to have hurt their racing ability. The L200 sedan screamed on the track and moved up to 21st in the overall standings. The SC1 coupe finished 1st in class and 26th in the overall standings.

As you may already know, two of the Saturn cars are equipped with OnStar. Each day, the team sends updates for me to post on the SaturnFans server.
