Aura XR 2.4L is a Low Key, Yet Nice Car (Visit this link)
Chris Jackson from Car Data: The 2009 Saturn Aura quickly claimed the dubious honor of the year's Most Difficult Car to Find in a Crowded Parking Lot award. It seemed like every time I left a store, a five-minute search would ensue to locate the wine-red vehicle. It's not that the roads are choked with Auras, or even that the car's styling is particularly forgettable. It's just that the Aura is so darn quiet. Saturn's new midsize sedan doesn't shout. It flashed onto the scene as an all-new vehicle for 2008, as a part of Saturn's impressive resurgence, but that’s just the big stick this car carries. The Aura is one of the smoothest and quietest cars I've ever been in, at idle. Oh, Bentleys and big Lexuses are good at isolating the outside noise, but the Aura was preternaturally quiet with the windows open. I actually checked to make sure I hadn't gotten a hybrid model that had shut the engine down while we were stopped; that's how quiet it was.
