Saturn Astra a "Joy to Drive" (Visit this link)
David Chao for Canada's Surrey Now: In general, cars designed in Europe and modified for North American consumption don't survive the transition very well. That's both unfortunate and fortunate, because the vehicles often lose a lot of what makes them exciting, but gain improved bumpers and other equipment to meet our stricter safety and emissions requirements. The Saturn Astra defies this generalization, meeting our standards while maintaining the fun-to-drive spirit that has made it such a hit in other markets. It's a joy to drive, fuel-efficient, and is easily the best small car in GM Canada's fleet. Small, lightweight cars are generally more fun to drive than larger vehicle, and the Astra is one of the best. It's nimble and quick, with balanced handling, stability in the corners, and a ride that's firm without being too bumpy. The steering setup is excellent, providing solid feedback and not overpowering the driver.
