Analyst Thinks Saturn Could Use Microvan in Lineup (Visit this link)

Saturn should consider adding the Meriva microvan as it continues to flesh out its model lines with vehicles developed by GM's Opel unit in Europe, suggests Jim Hall, managing director of 2953 Analytics, a Birmingham consultant and forecasting company. Saturn will add a subcompact model, GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz has said. It's been widely expected that would be the Corsa hatchback around 2011, but Hall says the Meriva, which boasts a very large interior and unique looks, is a better bet. The Meriva measures just 159.4 inches long, 8 inches shorter than a Scion xB. Both vehicles will be based on GM's Gamma architecture, which will produce subcompacts built and sold around the world.
