Limited slip differential conversion.

Limited Differential Conversion. A spring loaded friction clamp that attaches to the OEM LSD to simulate the benifits of an LSD.

A replacement differential that uses gears to apply automatic torque bias (ATB). The Quaife Differential powers both drive wheels under nearly all conditions, instead of just one. With an ordinary open differential, standard on most cars, a lot of precious power is wasted during wheelspin under acceleration.

Today’s electronically controlled engines place high demands upon the electrical and ignition systems, especially smaller Displacement engines like the Saturn’s which turn several thousands of rpms. As engine power output increases, suppression of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RMI) become critical to prevent interruption of sensor signals which can lead to misfires, detonation, and even complete engine shutdown.

A replacemnt differential that uses gears to apply automatic torque Bias. They are not available unless you know where to find one that was made for ICY or another GM/Saturn application.
