Tim Engstrom from News-Press: he pending sale of Saturn to an automotive icon has injected new enthusiasm into dealerships in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, owner Bob Goodman said. Goodman, who owns Saturn of Fort Myers and Saturn of Cape Coral, said sales and customer traffic have picked up in the month since General Motors announced it had a tentative agreement from the Penske Automotive Group to buy the brand. "Sales dramatically picked up after the Penske announcement," Goodman said. "I think a lot of people were sitting on the sidelines and waiting for something to happen before they made a decision." The sale to Penske - terms of which have not been released - is expected to be complete before the end of September. "I know they are working on it every day and they hope to have it wrapped up sooner than that," Goodman said.
