DCH Closing Saturn Stores in Eatontown, North Brunswick (Visit this link)
Gene Racz from MyCentralJersey.com: DCH Auto Group is closing its Saturn of Brunswick dealership on Route 1 and Saturn of Eatontown outlet on Feb. 14. The closures of the two DCH Saturn locations come on the heels of reports that General Motors is looking to possibly discontinue some of its brands — among them Saturn. "We're obviously very saddened, it was a hard decision by our corporate office, but it was basically: Blame it on GM," said Lisa Ocasio, sales manager at DCH Saturn of Brunswick, which is located on Route 1 north, next door to DCH Brunswick Toyota, which will remain open. "We've been here since 1991, and I've been working for Saturn for a long time. It's still very much a profitable (dealership), but DCH says GM can't guarantee a future for Saturn. So, that makes them a little bit leery to continue to keep it open or, obviously, cut their potential losses now. That's the whole issue, that's the only reason why we're closing. From a business standpoint, Saturn will buy back all of our remaining inventory."
