What Happens if Your Car's Brand is Gone? (Visit this link)

Those vehicle brand names are all being batted around during the automaker’s hearings on Capitol Hill as divisions for sale, or for elimination. So what if you own, or want to purchase one? What about warranties? Service? Parts? GM's Saturn of Charlotte's customer liaison Whitney Marti tells us Saturn warranties are GM warranties, and fully backed by the parent company. She believes it is unlikely that Saturn will be eliminated, but it is one of four brands that GM has said it will turn its focus from during reorganization. History shows that parts for eliminated brands are often tougher to find, but Marti says, "In the unlikely event that something were to happen, parts would be available through other General Motors channels."
