GM's Delta Plant Increases Crossover Production (Visit this link)
General Motors is rushing to make up for lost production in the wake of a month-long United Auto Workers strike at a Lansing-area assembly plant that builds the automaker's popular crossovers. GM's Delta Township factory will run two shifts on May 31 and June 7, both Saturdays, to rebuild supply of the GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook, according to an online positing by UAW Local 602, which represents the plant. The union, in its online posting, said GM needs to make up 18,000 vehicles of production.
