Among the stats released was a comparison between the top 5 least fast-forwarded commercials that aired on broadcast network television. Between the months of January and April 2007, Saturn's Aura television ad ranked third behind two Chevrolet commercials in the "automobile" category. The Saturn commercial placed ahead of a Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion ad. Here's a look at Tivo's Top 5 Least Fast-Forwarded Brands by Product Category: Automobiles (January 2007 - April 2007) 1. Red Bull TiVo acknowledges that these rankings should not be interpreted as a scorecard of 'who had the best commercials,' because media placement has a significant impact on fast-forwarding behavior. In an effort to establish some type of baseline for the study, the analysis was restricted to broadcast networks in primetime. It is also important to note that the brands with heaviest ad schedules are at a disadvantage because the more often spots run, the more likely the overall amount fast-forwarding regresses toward the mean. That being said, these are interesting statistics nonetheless!
