Saturn Retail Renovation Approved SaturnFans.com November 17, 2007 The Detroit News reports this week that Saturn's retail council recently voted to approve the most extensive refurbishing of its stores ever. "The move is part of a strategy to draw younger buyers to the 18-year-old brand," said the paper. "The store revamping is the final piece in a three-year overhaul of Saturn." New $45,000 signs will greet visitors as they approach any of the brand's 430 properties around the country. The facilities themselves will get the mandatory facelifts inside and out over the next three to five years. "It's definitely time for a freshening," Leo Stec, general manager of Saturn of Chicago, told the Detroit News. Click here to view a prototype of the new store design.
