SaturnFans.com • February 26, 2004

General Motors toasted awards season in style last night at the 3rd annual GM ten event, a charity-driven celebrity couture fashion show that fused the automotive, entertainment, and fashion worlds into one unforgettable evening. Matthew Perry, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Paris Hilton, Heather Graham, and Kim Cattrall were just a few of the Hollywood luminaries who made the scene.

GM ten showcased top celebrities wearing the latest couture fashions matched with General Motors products, including current concept cars, production vehicles, and Southern California-modified vehicles with a rock and roll flair.

Celebrity models Matthew Perry, Heather Graham, Kim Cattrall, Dave Navarro, Molly Shannon, George Lopez, Kelis, Erika Christensen, Roselyn Sanchez, Anne Hathaway, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michelle Branch, Jacqueline Obradors, Devon Aoki, and Laura Bell Bundy wore designs by Christian Dior, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Celine, J. Lindeberg, Oscar de la Renta, Hugo Boss, and others. Actress Erika Christensen shared the center stage with the Saturn Curve concept vehicle.

General Motors donated a total of $100,000 to charities specified by each model, including Narconon International Drug Prevention and Rehabilitation, BAOBAB for Women's Human Rights, and Cry Help. Guests including Owen Wilson, Hayden Christensen, Anthony Kiedis, Henry Simmons, Michael Clarke Duncan, Topher Grace, Nicky Hilton, Kelly Hu, Kelly Osbourne, Rick Yune, Shane West, Eduardo Verastegui, Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Danny Masterson, and Neve Campbell were treated to a special performance by Camp Freddy, an eclectic group of rock stars who hosted special on-stage guests Macy Gray, Juliette Lewis, Cypress Hill, Billie Joe Armstrong of Greenday, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, and a surprise performance from Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

Custom automobiles featured on the runway included a GMC pick-up, a purple 1952 Buick, a GMC Denali, and a Buick Rainier. The popular Cadillacs and HUMMERs, which have established a significant presence in the world of entertainment and in pop culture in general, were on display, including a custom Hummer H2, an H2 Limo and the Hummer H3T Concept, in addition to a Custom Cadillac ESV, XLR, and SRX.

"In a city where cars are seen as fashion accessories, people are able to express their individual senses of style with their cars and trucks," said Mike Jackson, General Manager of the GM Western Region. "The unique car culture of Los Angeles and the excitement of awards season made this the perfect night to host Hollywood and showcase some of the hottest vehicles on the road today."
