Sky to be Rebadged as Daewoo G2X in Korea May 30, 2006 General Motors recently unveiled a fourth variant off its popular, but short supplied, rear-wheel-drive Kappa architecture. The new model will be built at the company's Wilmington Assembly plant in Delaware, and exported to Korea where it will be sold as the Daewoo G2X. The G2X will look very familiar to Saturn fans. With exception of some Daewoo badging inside and out, the G2X will be identical to the Saturn Sky roadster. Automotive News says the G2X "made its debut at the Busan Motor Show in Korea this month." GM has not yet announced when it will go on sale or how much it will cost. In addition to the Sky and G2X, GM also builds the Pontiac Solstice at Wilmington. The European-bound Opel GT will also be built there.
