Team Saturn Rally Race Update SaturnFans.com April 13, 2002 California Rally Series April 6th Corona, California Driver Kevin Kraack and navigator Robert Wilson are pleased to announce a 2nd place finish, bumping the 'Team Saturn Rally' up a class into Group 2. The Tombstone Rally Sprint this past weekend (April 6th) hosted by the California Rally Series provided a challenging 1.2 mile dirt course with many difficult twists and turns to negotiate. After changing the rear spring rate on the Progress Group Suspension the Saturn SC2 took on a whole new feel while driving offroad. Kevin said "the combination of the new Energy Suspension urethane bushings and the new springs we are running made all the difference in the world." Kevin went on to say, "When we hit jumps in the course, the car flew flat and landed softly, which help me regain control immediately." Spectators and other rally teams all commented on how professional the Saturn SC2 looked and could only wonder how the Saturn Team kept the car in such great shape with Kevin's aggressive driving style. The Saturn Rally Team would like to thank all of their sponsors for their ongoing commitment to the team, and they believe this weekend was a successful showing as well as a good standard of race results to expect as the season continues. The Saturn Rally Team is now in training and preparing for the world famous 'Rim of the World Rally' which takes place May 3rd and 4th in Palmdale, California. Again, thank you to all the team's sponsors for support and the team looks forward to bringing more good news your way as the season unfolds. Click here for pictures of the Team Saturn Rally SC2.
