Chris Berube: SC1 Coupe Racecar

Chris is a Total Vehicle Integration Engineer (TVIE) in the Advanced Vehicle Development Center at GM/Saturn. He is currently on special assignment at Saturn as an EPN Manager / Vehicle Engineer for the Saturn Vue program. He is officially located at the GM Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, but resides at the Saturn Vehicle Engineering Center while on special assignment. Prior to his role as TVIE, Chris was the Ride & Handling Development Engineer at Saturn on the S-series and Vue programs from 1995-2000. Chris' driving background includes the 2000 One Lap of America, where he finished 2nd in the Economy Class and the 2001 One Lap of America where he won the Economy Class. Chris has General Motors High-G/Limit Handling driver clearance as well as General Motors Level II driver certification. He competed in SCCA Solo II events for over 6 years, including CSP & ES class points championships in the Detroit Region. He is currently pursuing his SCCA competition license for road racing in the ITA class with a 1994 Saturn SC2. Chris, his wife Marie and daughter Erin live in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Mike Stimac: SC1 Coupe Racecar

Mike is the Lead Commodity Coordinator for Body Structures and Closures in the GM GVDP Operations Group. He is located at TPC in Pontiac, Michigan. Prior to that, Mike worked at the GM Powertrain Laboratory in Ypsilanti, Michigan as Test Scheduler. Mike's driving background includes the 2000 One Lap of America, where he won the Economy Class. Mike has competed in Corvette/Viper and Ferrari/Viper Challenges. He is currently a Driving Instructor for the Shelby Automobile Club, and has extensive road course experience at venues across the country since 1995. Mike and his wife Tracy are building a new home in Lake Orion, Michigan.

Michael Kramer: L200 Sedan Racecar

Mike Kramer is Operations Director of the EDS/Saturn Media Center in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He joined the EDS/Saturn team in 1993. Currently, he leads a team of communications specialists responsible for internal television production and programming at the Saturn manufacturing facility in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Mike began his racing career in 1988 as a high-performance driving instructor for Powell Motorsports in Ontario, Canada. During the past fourteen years he has driven a variety of racing hardware in endurance and sprint racing. Currently, he races a showroom stock Saturn SC2 in the Sports Car Club of America's (SCCA) National Road Racing Championship series. He is a three-time SCCA Division Champion (1998, 1999 & 2001) and two-time SCCA Runoff Medallist. He was named Tennessee Road Racer of the Year in 1998 and 1999. This is his second appearance with Saturn's One Lap of America Team. Mike lives with his wife Jennifer (JJ) and sons Alex and Joseph in Franklin, Tennessee.

Joe Troilo: L200 Sedan Racecar

Joe is the Lead Processing Engineer for the General Assembly Department at Saturn Wilmington Assembly. Located in Wilmington Delaware, the plant assembles the Saturn L-series sedan and wagon. In his previous assignment, Joe was a Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader for the team, which brought the Saturn L-series to Wilmington. Joe has been with the General Motors Corporation for thirty-three years. This is Joe's first year with the Saturn One Lap Team. Joe drag raced for five years and is a state representative for the National Street Rod Association. Joe also builds street rods and muscle cars. He has completed twenty-three to date. Joe and his wife Pauline have two sons that play professional baseball, Jason with the New York Yankees and Joey with the Boston Red Sox.

Ken Wasmer: L200 Sedan Racecar

Ken is the Platform Engineering Manager for the Saturn L Series, Chevrolet Malibu, Oldsmobile Alero and Pontiac Grand Am vehicles. He is located at Troy, Michigan. Ken has been working on Saturn products for 15 years and has lead the chassis, crashworthiness and vehicle development teams. Ken, an avid racer, has been a part of the Saturn One Lap of America teams in 2000 and 2001. Ken participated in demolition derbys at Islip Speedway in the 70s. Ken was born in New Jersey. He has been happily married for twenty-three years, and will celebrate his anniversary at the end of the year's One Lap event. Ken, his wife Sharon, and sons Tim (age 13) and Nick (age 16) live in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Ken is very active in his church and his son's sports.

Kevin Frazier: Saturn Media Vehicle

Kevin is an Assembly Team Member in the body shop at the Saturn Wilmington Assembly Plant in Wilmington, Delaware. He installs doors on the Saturn L-series vehicles. He’s been with General Motors since November of 1978. He’s held a variety of assembly positions and is an accomplished Mig Welder. Kevin is a member of the Saturn One Lap of America Media Coverage Team. He’s looking forward to the One Lap of America Tour. Kevin is married with four children. He graduated from PS Dupont High School and Brandywine College with a degree business administration. He served in the U.S. Navy in Iwo Jima, Granada and his homeport - Norfolk, Virginia. Kevin is currently an assistant coach with Lincoln University. He enjoys drag racing, fishing, bowling, NASCAR events, shooting pool and playing basketball. Kevin also participates in the Bike to the Bay, a ninety mile bike ride to raise money for MS society.

Kevin Lane: Saturn Media Vehicle

Kevin is the leader of the Saturn One Lap of America Media Coverage Team. He has traveled around the entire U.S. as a 'Front of House - Audio Engineer' but looks forward to the One Lap quick tour. Kevin has been with GM / EDS for seven years. His current assignment is Video Producer with the Communications Team at the Saturn Wilmington Assembly Plant in Wilmington, Delaware. Kevin grew up in Southern Illinois and lived in Tennessee for 18 years working in the music and video industry. Kevin, Amy, his wife of 17 years, and children Addie (12) and Keegan (8) enjoy living in Wilmington, Delaware. He enjoys family activities and music.

Rick Ruffing: Saturn Media Vehicle

Rick is a Material Driver at the Saturn Wilmington Assembly Plant in Wilmington, Delaware. He joined General Motors in July of 1980. He's done everything from building seats and installing instrument panels to driving a fork-lift truck supplying the assembly line with parts. Rick is a member of the Saturn One Lap of America Media Coverage Team. He’s looking forward to the One Lap of America Tour. Rick was born in New York, and lived in New Jersey and Pennsylvania before his family settled in Delaware when Rick was thirteen. He graduated from Newark High School and attended Delaware Technical and Community College. In his spare time he enjoys carpentry, working on cars, and attending NASCAR races. Rick is single and lives in Newark, Delaware.
