Virtual Polymer Demonstration
A SaturnFans.com Exclusive

One of Saturn's most impressive features are the innovative polymer body panels it clothes its cars in. To help you better understand how the panels work, I developed an online polymer panel demonstration. It was showcased during last year's week-long Saturn Fest celebration. The panels resist damage from small dents, ding, and minor bumps... very popular among Saturn owners. The panels simply absorb the impact, and bounce back into their original form.

If you go to your local Saturn retailer, the sales people will eagerly show you how well the panels work: they will either pound on the side of a car with their fists, or let you jump on a sample door panel laying on the floor. No matter how hard you try, the panels always go back to their original shape.

But how can you demonstrate this feature on the internet? Well, the SaturnFans.com engineering team (that's me) has developed a special polymer body side panel button that fits on your computer screen. It works much in the same way though.

So go ahead and pound away. The virtual polymer button simply bounces back into its original postition -- just like the real panel. The button has been tested for many hours, and has proven to be very resilient to damage.

So keep clicking. And clicking. And clicking.

And if you're frustrated... click harder. The Saturnalia polymer button comes with a bonus feature: it also relieves stress.
