Look for a new Saturn ad to run during tonight's telecast of the 79th Annual Academy Awards on the ABC television network. According to the NY Times, "General Motors is also taking the occasion to run new work, the first commercials for Saturn from that brand's new agency, the Marina del Rey, California, office of Deutsch, part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. The company also plans to run three spots for Cadillac that have appeared previously, from Modernista in Boston, and a commercial promoting the G.M. corporate image, which may be repurposed from one that ran during the Super Bowl."

The new Aura ad, entitled 'Share,' brings back memories of Saturn's early television ads when the brand was first launched. "Not long after the Saturn Aura won the award for the North American Car of the Year," the voiceover says, "we decided to give it back. Instead of putting the award in some trophy case, we thought we should share it with a few of the people who chose the Aura before it won. Each of them will spend a little time with it before sending it on to someone else. And in case anyone's wondering, we're springing for the postage. Introducing the all-new Aura sports-sedan. The car that gets everything right... from Saturn."
