Car Carrier Delivers Truckload of Auras to Lexus Dealership September 14, 2006 The best advertisements not only get your attention with their positioning of a product, but also tell a story that viewers can relate to. Such is the case with Saturn's new "That's a Saturn?" television commercials that the brand is using to launch its all-new 2007 models. It seems that Aura owners aren't the only ones having to explain that the new midsize car is indeed a Saturn. Saturn General Manager Jill Lajdziak recently told the Detroit News about an error made by a truck driver that ended with a car carrier full of Auras at the wrong car dealership. The newspaper wrote that "a Saturn dealership in North Carolina received a call from a Lexus dealership down the road. Apparently, a truck driver tried to drop off a load of Auras at the Lexus dealership because he took a quick look at the vehicles and thought they were made by Toyota's successful luxury brand." The newspaper added that, "people at GM couldn't help but smile at the story. It may have been the first time a Saturn has been mistaken for Lexus, but Lajdziak & Co. hope it's not the last."
