According to a report at TheCarConnection.com, sales of Saturn's new Aura are resulting in a lot of conquest sales for the brand. Saturn General Manager, Jill Lajdziak, recently told the publication that "we're getting all kinds of vehicles in trade for the Aura." She said that retailers report that customers are trading in Honda Accords, ToyotaCamrys, and even BMWs for Saturn's new midsize car. In addition, the uplevel XR model accounts for more than 40% of Aura purchases. Lajdziak told TCC that the Aura's sales results show that Saturn's new strategy of offering European-inspired models seems to be getting traction and is helping the brand become more successful in the marketplace.
