2002 SC2
Default Instrument Cluster Swap

Hey, I have looked around here for a while and have seen that different model and GM car instrument clusters have been used to replace the stock Saturn cluster. I was wondering what would work for a 2002 Saturn sc2, also, does the mileage automatically transfer over or does it have to be flashed by a gm dealer? Thank you for any help on the matter.

I don't know the years exactly, but after I think its 2000, the mileage is stored in the BCM, not the instrument cluster

Short answer: '00-'02 S-Series, L-Series, Vue, Equinox, Torrent clusters swap, sometimes with small trade-offs (such as incorrectly lit idiot lights). Mileage will read correctly, as it's stored in the BCM, not the cluster.

I put in a Torrent cluster back in February. it looks nice and is accurate, but it won't tell me when to change the oil or the SES light. tradeoffs. oh, and it says that the traction control is off (I don't have traction control) it does 90% of the original and looks 100% better. Up to you.
