It should be CODES not "cobes" The Engine is surging about 250 RPM between 40 and 45 miles per hour - the tech says the sparkplugs are missfiring. Why all 6 at one time??

The 0300 is a general code defining a misfire while the rest define each cylinder misfiring. In essence there is something wrong with the electronic ignition system that's not providing the ignition for all six cylinders and doing it intermittently otherwise you might have a dead engine altogether. There are many things related to the ignition system with one or more components in common affecting misfiring to all cylinders. Its pointing away from the spark plugs and plug wires.

My thoughts exactly, seemd funny when the dealer wanted to install spark plugs for 70.00 and then 4 hours labor. I changed the plugs myself, and found no change to speak of, I am seeking all the information I can get to get to the bottom of this problem. We love the car, it is just a nusiance to have the surgeing at slow speed.
Thanks all! |

Not being familiar with Honda/Vue problems, EFI systems are pretty much the same with the exception of a few sensors from one model to another. If the dealer tech hasn't used Saturn's Tech II or Honda's version of Saturn's reader/scanner/programmer tool (if one exists) then perhaps its time to look for better expertise from another dealer service shop. Just my 2-cents
