2004 ION-2 Sedan
Default Crazy Electrical Problems!

All of a sudden my 2004 Ion 2 stereo wouldn't play unless I opened the driver's door and closed it a second time. Then, the front passenger window quit working, then the back passenger window quit working. The other day I was checking the back passenger window and it started going down and the stereo turned on too! I know it's Halloween today, but any ideas what's going on?

Examine the general wiring harnesses for these parts and you might see something in common otherwise this may be a needle-in-a-haystack chase to find loose connections. Grounds too.

I recommend that you inspect the wires in the driver door jamb. I'm thinking there are some frayed wires inside that rubber covering.

also check for bent/dirty pins in the driver door jamb too. if those controls are not plugged in, then none of the doors work.
