Default 2008 V6 Vue With P0700 Code 2008 V6 (LY7) 6 spd (MH2) with 126,000 miles threw a Service Engine Soon code while driving yesterday. The symptoms were that it felt like we were at a higher ERPM then expected while driving 30 - 40 mph or in the wrong gear, engine seemed whiny at those vehicle speeds and felt under powered or in wrong gear when pulling away from a stop sign. I think when I switched to Manual mode I did not see anything in the driver display for gear. Today I drove it to Autozone to get the codes checked. SES light was still on, but no symptoms while driving. Felt normal, manual mode worked fine and display showed gear state. Scan tool showed P0700 Transmission Control System Performance (no other codes per the Autozone tech). I drove the car a few hours later and SES light was off and again no symptoms noticed. I did have the trans flushed at ~ 100k miles. Any suggestions of what to do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
