Default 99 SL2 P0304 code......please help

Alrighty, alittle background, i'm new here but not new to Saturns, I love these lil cars. I used to have a 95 sl1, i loved that car i finally blew it up with 210,000 miles on it. That was about 6 years ago. About a month ago I managed to aquire a 99 SL2 with 100k miles and a bad motor for $400 bucks, figuring used engines are pretty cheap it might be a fun little project.

Fast forward 6 weeks, I got a used engine from a 94 sl2, swapped the heads and all the other essentials and dropped it in, everything was going along pretty smoothly until i went to fire it up. It started right up but seemed to be idling pretty rough. While driving it runs great nice and smooth, but when i go back to idle it is rough again. It is showing a P0304 code, and i've been doing hours of research and trial and errors to try to fix the missfire. It has good spark and i've swapped out fuel injectors. When i took the plug out it had a white tip which tells me its running lean.......Ive looked at all the vacuum lines and they all seem ok, most of them are new. I'm at a loss and hope you guys can help me, thanks in advance...

Bare minimum is 180 PSI.

if you get lower than this, on a warm engine, put a capful of motor oil (the same cap that's used on the bottle) into the offending cylinder and try again.

If it improves, it's a piston ring; otherwise it's valves. Either way below 180 you're looking at surgery.

Is there a good number on a cold engine? I only got to do 1 cyl warm but was able to do all 4 while it was cold before my tester broke.

when i got my car looked at for a 303 error code, at one point the mechanic came back and told me he put some oil in each spark plug tube and the 3rd one got dry quick. is that a bad valve or ring?
