Well the 18 inch xr wheels are a no go. The site I ordered them from cancelled on me because they only had 1 in stock. All over ebay is the same story with the exception of one seller that has 3 NOS wheels but wants 500 bucks a pop. Instead I decided on a set of 18x8 Enkei Raijin’s. The bolt patter is slightly different at 5x112mm, but I ordered a set of wobble lugs which should solve the issue. Next step is probably lowering springs..

I am an ignoramus, have never heard of "wobble lugs."
Could you post a link or picture of what you decide to use?

They’re regular wheel bolts but they have a floating washer that allows the offset to be slightly different and still allow the wheel bolt to sit properly. This video shows it really good:

They fit! Getting them mounted and balanced this week. Just waiting on the hub centric rings and wheel bolts to come in. They’re 18x8’s.

Just went with the stock 18 size, 225/40/18. Also hows this for a happy accident, Opel center caps fit with just a little heat and expanding of the tangs. More pics when they’re all mounted up.

Looks sharp, especially the Opel cap fitment.
Some top-spec Euro Astras had similar rims, so no surprise they look good. |

Maybe the front struts will lower a bit after driving around a few days.
The back looks fine IMHO. Search the forums here for spring and strut ideas. You likely need to import from the UK but that is not too hard these days. . . |
