2006 VUE Red Line
Default Hi all New RL owner

Hi everyone, traded in my wife's 04 4 cyl 5 spd manual Vue last weekend for a 2006 silver Redline. I love the redline. Get this: The wife was mad! She like her manual transmission!!!! Oh well, she will learn to love it or I will just get to drive the Redline more, fine by me!

My other vehicle is a 2001 Bullitt Mustang. We like Special edition vehicles in this family.

So I have been reading a bit and I did a search but I didn't come up with anything, what is Debonging the vue? The stang had a snorkel type thing on the airbox that when removed adds a couple HP (supposedly) I figure it was the same kinda thing, how do i do it?

Thanks!

I agree with your wife. The RL would be way more fun with a 6 speed manual (since the auto is already a 5 speed)

Totally agree - WAY more fun with a manual. Every once-in-a-while I find myself reaching for the clutch that's not there...

Before my RL, I'd been driving stick shifts for about 14 years.

Welcome!!! My wife loves her 07 Redline. I only get to drive it on the weekend if she remembers. Here is my other weekend warrior.

We like specialty cars too.
