yeah, once I get this issue sorted out, I need to diagnose my non functional A/C. Crank windows and no a/c is not ideal.

At different times, the AC on my 98 and 02 stopped cooling. Both times, it was because one of the Schrader valves (basically, bicycle tire style stems you push in to release air/refrigerant) had loosened and slowly leaked.

Replacement stems are under $5, though on my 02 I just tightened it and refilled. I think I did end up replacing the valve later because I had the tool already. Of course, it was shortly after I refilled that it stopped working again because of the thermal fuse

on the 98, i noticed AC slowly getting weaker over the summer. On the 02, it worked one summer, must have leaked out over fall/winter, didnt work next summer.
