Default 2007 saturn vue cranks but no fire

hello I am needing help with my 2007 Saturn vue with a 2.2l ecotec I drove the car but when I got home it would not start. the engine has good compression, it has fuel pressure. I have changed the spark plugs the crank shaft sensor, I have changed the ignition control module, the coil pack, I also tried a new body control module and a new engine control module. I am at a loss at what else the problem could be. any help will be greatly appreciated.

What were the original symptoms before replacing parts? Most troubleshooting is either loss of spark or fuel. Troubleshooting steps are specific to test for spark and fuel in various ways. Spraying starting fluid is the easiest way to determine lack of spark or fuel.

When replacing either ecm or bcm, a relearn procedure is needed to sync both modules. The more common term is 'marrying' modules. A fuel password is exchanged between modules to allow them to work together otherwise Passlock flashes the security light and disables injector operation, preventing engine running. The relearn procedure takes 30 minutes. Search threads - its basically three 10 minute cycles on ignition on with the fourth cycle learning the password. The only visual clue to this is security flashing during starting when modules are not synched. Another clue would be removing spark plugs - after several failed starting attempts, cylinders should be flooded with raw fuel. If no fuel is seen or smelled on plugs, injectors are disabled until a relearn procedure is performed. You can always reinstall both original modules and start over without performing a relearn procedure.

before I replaced parts the starter would crank and the engine would crank but there was not fire. so a friend of mine checked the spark plugs first and they were fine. he also checked the fuel pressure and the compression on the engine. he also checked the timing chain. we tried spraying starter fluid in it but it did not change anything. also I did put the original computers back on the car. also the security light does not come on. with the original computers. and it is getting fuel. just no fire.

Ok, security is off/not flashing during starting, starting fluid won't get the engine to fire up, and original ecm and bcm are back in. Is fuel getting into each cylinder, spark plugs wet and smelling of fuel? By supplying fuel with starting fluid and the engine not firing up suggest an ignition problem, no spark? To test for spark, the ignition coil pack and ignition control module can be laid out over the engine with plugs connected, wiring connected and plug bases wired to the engine block. Remove the fuel pump fuse to prevent fuel injectors feeding fuel into cylinders. Have someone crank the engine while you observe for spark on each plug. No spark suggests ignition system fuse. Did you check for blown fuses?

Hello I checked the fuses and they are all good. We checked for spark and had none.

No spark should point to ignition circuit; fused power, wiring, ignition control module and coil pack. Check the IGN/INJ 15 amp fuse and pin A/pink wire supplying 12v fused power to the ignition control module with ignition on.

check for power to the coil may be a bad ignition switchthere is an ignition relay and its not so costly
