Dizzy Intake Manifold Issue?

Hello Everyone. Just a little background info. 2002 Saturn Vue AWD 3.0 V6. I am having a rough idle and a power issue. The Vue sounds like it is running a 4-barrel carb, when anything is given over easy throttle pressure. Kind of throaty sounding, if that makes any sense. Almost like it is getting way to much air into the intake. This happened after taking the top off of the intake manifold to take a look, while I was changing the thermostat, spark plugs, and ignition coils. I thing the intake flappers might be just staying open all of the time. Everything worked fine, until i performed maintenance on the vehicle. I noticed there is a vacuum line that splits and goes to each one of the flapper actuators. Is there suppose to be vacuum to these lines when the car is running? There wasn't any vacuum when I removed each one of the lines. Is there a way to check and see if the actuators are working? The vehicle has absolutely no power now. Any info that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would look into your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)

Not familiar with your year...some wizards here, may offer some better info.

Thank You for the response. I am thinking that it is probably something I did when I had the lid off of the intake. It must be something to do with that. The car ran fine, until the repair and maintenance. I guess maybe I should not have removed the intake lid, but wanted to take a look. Maybe the flappers are hung up.

I think if you search for Vue flapper valve issues within these forums you're likely to find info.
