Default Fuel pump replacement for LW300

Possible to pull this off in the driveway or leave it to a mechanic? Anybody got a step by step for the job?

Default Re: Fuel pump replacement for LW300

Because there is no access hatch for the pump the fuel tank must be dropped for access. Also the exhaust pipe has to be dropped. Given the issue of having to siphon out the fuel and explosive vapour I think having a mechanic doing it would be good.
