Vue Leads Equinox in 2007 Sales as of 2-28-2007

The Eek was at 12,899 and the Vue was at 15,412 as of 2-28-2007 The reason is probably due to polymer and more engine/tranny choices. I'd be curious to see what happens as the 07's dry up and how they will count the 08 sales.

Not so much, try incentives. The VUE had 0% for 5yrs or $2000 on the hood for a good portion of last month and is at 0% or $1500 on the hood currently for it and the GL as well. The 'Nox is at 4.9% or $1000 on the hood.

It looks like they're trying to clear the lots of the old VUEs to make way for the new VUE. Given that and the fact that the 'Nox is nearing its third birthday, plus the new CR-V and RAV4, it's a wonder that it sells at all.

No surprise, the Vue is a better vehicle! I looked hard at the Equinox, with a bunch of GM Card earnings in my pocket and them "making deals" slashing thousands off the Equinox it was hard to walk away.....but, with the Equinox having a underpowered (compared to the Vue) V-6 and a metal body, I opted for the Vue. Of course, the GMCard earnings couldn't be used for a Saturn unless you have some sort of "family GMCard".

A kid in a brand new black Equinox pulled up to me at a light last week. He started revving the gas in neutral. I just laughed at him, knowing that his Chinese engine wouldn't have a chance.

He actually chirped the front tires when he took off from the light. I wasn't going to be intimidated. I caught up with him a few miles ahead. A cop was busy writing him a ticket. I smiled as I drove by...

The Equinox or Torrent cannot hold a candle to the VUE..jmho
Have one of them down our street and it is hideous....Although the VUE got discounts to help sales, you can go to any Pontiac/Chevy dealership and easily get 2k off your pick....
Not to mention, the advertising budget those other brands get....
I just don't get the Chevy or Pontiac 'feeling'.....Their older fare was ok (60/70 muscle cars), but today, ugh!

The truck has been out for some time (a few years).
It's called the "blackwood?" or something like that.
Has silver stripes on the tailgate, and the tailgate opens in the center?
Oh yeah, I can see me hauling wood in that.
Talk about impractical.
A bed does not make something a truck, case in point my old Subie Baja.
Yes it was a crossover, and it had a bed, and State Farm called it a truck....
but I couldn't fit my weedeater in there without taking the thing apart (Ryobi quick change).
I looked at the Equinox for work, but I was not impressed.
Really crappy looking IMHO, but then again I'm with the gov't and we buy pallets of Dodges left and right cause we're stupid!
Don't even get me started....
I tried for 25 Vue's, but GM wasn't sure how to take that order, so I'm stuck with Jeep Liberty's again.
With yet another recall for catching on fire (as if I'm shocked).
