Default Light issues.

1997 Saturn SL2, 141k miles

that said, every time I brake, my left light turns on, but my right one doesn't come on unless I turn on my console lights. This sane bulb was replaced in march of this year.

My headlights, brights, and DRLs will point at everything else EXCEPT the road. These have even been known to point at 2nd story windows and high trees

any idea(s) here? Is my alternator getting ready to die

thanks!

Headlights pointing at the wrong place is an aiming issue. There should be screws on each of the headlight assemblies to adjust their aim.

Was your car in an accident? Aim isn't normally that bad off unless the whole assembly was removed and replaced.

For the brake light, the light comes on and gets bright with the brakes only if the headlights are on? Pull the tail light assembly out and check the wiring... compare it to the side that works. Sounds like the PO removed the base and put the wires back on wrong.

UPDATE:

I put in a new bulb, however, my left signal was COMPLETELY dead. So I screwed with the left side and all is well with the brake lights, for now.
