Default Intermediate Shaft Bearing Wobble

I noticed some bearing play in my intermediate shaft. (97 SC1) This is the short piece that attaches to the engine that the passenger side half shaft ties into. Has anyone ever had one of these fail? What would be the best way to address this problem? No one seems to offer rebuilt ones, which would amount to a pressed bearing (but seems to be a rather large one) and an axle seal. Thanks much for any input.
