Default 1991 SL1 constant sputter and hesitation

Hi,
The saturns cooling fan broke and unfortunatly I noticed my girlfriend over heated the car, probably ran hot for quite a while. Ever since the car has been continuosly running worse. What could be the problem? I have checked the EGR solenoid, EVAP canister purge solenoid, Coolant fan relay, and A/C relay. I dont know what else it could be? What can go wrong when a car overheats? It is a 1991 saturn SL1 with a SOHC. I have also checked the spark plugs and wires
Thanks
Erick

If it got hot enough you either blowed a head gasket or cracked the head,if so it will run better when cold and as it heats up it will get worse as the crack expands with heat, and could be putting anti-freeze into the oil or leaking some down the block from the head,or out the exhaust,or burnt a valve.

Check the compression on all cylinders, they should all be within 10-15 lbs from the highest to lowest reading.

Good luck

How does the oil look? How does the coolant look?

The oil was a bit low but the coolant is fine. The car runs the same no matter warm or cold. The compression is also good. All spark plugs look the same.
