Wiring issues

Hi. I am new to this forum. I have a 2002 Saturn SC-1. It has been a great car. 175,000 Miles and still running well. Recently this car was in an accident where the drivers door was hit from behind and the front fender and the door were destroyed. I was lucky and found the exact match for parts. I hung the door and spliced the wires which appeared to be the same color and gauge. I have an issue with the locks, mirrors and dome lights. The power mirrors on both sides do not work. the power lock on the drivers side does not respond to any signal from the security system. The lock on the passenger side works as it should when activated from the key fob. Niether lock works from the buttons on the door. The trunck lid will not respond to the signal from the key fob. The dome lights do not work. however, when any dome light switch is in the on position the door ajar light on the instrument will come on. at this time the security system acts like a door is ajar. The horn will blow several short times indicating that something is open. Interrior lights off and the security system will arm when it is suppose to.

My question is do I have 1 or more wires crossed? Possibly the wiring harness from the new door is different? Is it possible that the body control module was damaged in the accident? Has anyone seen anything like this?

If the doors are a true exact match the harness should match up with no problems and I would agree with you, you've probably got a wire or two crossed somewere
