VERY intermittent idle issues.
This isn't a HUGE problem, more of an annoyance, but every once in a while, my car simply refuses to idle properly. I'm talking like once every 3-4 months or so. At first I didn't see any pattern, but it happened yesterday again, and it seems to happen if I've had to move my car a short distance (across a parking lot) after the vehicle has cooled. Am I essentially flooding it by starting it in cold start mode and not letting it warm up, then shutting it off? I had two short moves yesterday, then the car sat quite a while. When I started it up, it had to crank a couple more times than usual. It didn't want to idle either, and I had to give it just a little gas to keep the revs up or it would stall out. Once I got on the highway and gave it the old Italian tune up (6k shifts for first, second and third) and came to the next light, all was well. I'm going to check the plugs today for any sign of overfueled fouling. Anyone else ever experience this one?
