So I was talking with my old man last night and he was saying he’s gonna get ahold of an engine for us to rebuild. I told him that I’d do a little research and say **** it, engine swap my saturn. My question is, what engines are options to fit in the engine bay? could I squeeze a V6 in there, or would I be limited to another 4 banger? And if so are there any bolt on options?

I think a L67/L32 swap with a 5 speed would be a blast. I don't know the OAL difference is between the LS4 and the L67, but I'd assume the L67 is shorter being that it's a V6. I think the additional space would help.

You are only limited by your imagination, bank account and fabrication skills. It helps to have a welder handy too.
The following swaps into an Saturn S Series have been done: V8 rwd and fwd (as in the last post), Honda K series drive train, a supercharged 2.0 from a Saturn Ion, a 3800 GM, a Volkswagen TDI...... I'm sure the list goes on. Good luck and let us know what you come up with ![]()

My 96 SL2 and 98 SL1 have joined together to become one. So I guess I now have a 1996/8 SL1-2. |

We have a Lincoln MKT in the family. Basically a tarted up Ford Flex. It has the 355 HP V6 Ecoboost engine and all wheel drive. Would be cool to have in an S Series.
