This one for $24.79? I don't recall others here comment on their experience with Marmon quality -- but I could be wrong.,5552

Not sure, but i think in El_Bell thread (General, started in September):

that he or a respondent commented favorably on the Marmon with
the "HD" suffix. Good that they include new studs.

I figure I should reply on here because I actually bought this specific motor mount and rest of the set a few months ago from rock auto. The A2827HD is NOT really the solid design, as the picture shows, and it also doesn't come with the studs pictured. I was pretty disappointed, and considering the unavailability of new mounts I decided to try and get a replacement from rockauto (hoping that the frowney that I got was misboxed). Lo and behold I just got another mount that was exactly the same. After that I returned the whole set because I did not want to deal with the rest of the mounts, and I ended up finding a junkyard top mount for about $5 to $10 that was not too bad. (Not too bad compared to my old one at least, in which the rubber was actually entirely torn...)

So, unless you can actually see an open box and know that it is a solid non-frowny mount I would not buy it. Hope that helps.

Well, after reading the El_Bell thread it appears that PrestonIII got a A2827HD solid mount with at least 2 studs. Maybe I just got really unlucky...

Manufactures swap around mounts all the time. I ordered a Westar mount and got an Anchor. Finding a listing that "guarantees" to be the solid design seems to be inconsistent as well.

Buying locally would be ideal, but they are usually double the price too.

When I replaced all 4 of my motor/transmission mounts back before the Covid thing hit I bought this kit from Rock Auto.

As of this time all is still quiet as the day I replaced them and I received the one pictured that is the first design of the upper mount.

It seems the part number between the frownie and the solid mount are the same except for the solid first design having HD added after the number, A2827 vs. A2827HD

My A2827HD mount came with the studs and was the solid design.
