Anyone knows of a good OBDII code reader for a 94 saturn sl2 or ford windstar or any car for that matter. I would prefer to use the one that I can use my laptop to view. Thanks.

94 Saturn is OBDI (one) and not OBDII (two). It does not utilize a labtop to view, but I like the ScanGaugeII.

There is free software on the net to use with a laptop, all you have to buy is a cable to interface the 2,about $60.00-$90.00
google tuner pro rt,eflive, diagnose it Also they have schematics for free to build your own cable if you know electroncis, Also on ebay they have a actron cp9150 obd-1-obd-ll for ford, chrysler,gm from 91-present for $260.00 |

if all you want is PCM codes from the saturn, a paper clip will work.
For live data, get simidrm's doodad. Ford has a similar-but-different way to get codes out of their evil computer, involves, IIRC, a voltmeter... find a good ford site as they can help you with the results better too. ![]() |
