After all the discussions of code readers, I thought I would check it out. I found this one on amazon, and was wondering what we all thought. The real joy of it, though, is that it's listed as being half the suggested manufacturer price.

Don't bother.
Buy an ELM327 or Elmscan 5 and get equipment or software from one of the many companies that support ELM. If you are really cheap ( like me ) buy a clone Elm327 ( mine costs 33$ and I have full support for all cars and Enhanced Diagnostics for Ford with the software I found ) and run obdii scan software off of it. Search the *internet* and you can find some full versions around. |
