slr chip ?
Has any one used these chips in their saturn. I am talking bout the banners you see for the 6 plus mpg and added hp. Do these work or are they a joke?

Um are you talking about those performance chips from ebay?
They do not work. They are a 30 cent transistor from Radio Shack. |

Sounds like snake oil. 2 connectors, zipties. If you buy in bulk you can get the resistors for only 5 cents a piece.

I will tell you right now. There is no performance chips for a ours. GM set our PCMs up so you can't really do much. You can hack them but you can only make minor modifications to fuel map and stuff like that. Basically not worth the time and hassle.

I tried one of those chips (fuse) for fun and it set off the check motor light. Also it did nothing for fuel savings.
