This goes for ALL the axles. ABS made no difference here.

The outer CV joint is where the most debate seems to happen.

--91-93 has a smaller spline diameter requiring the 91-93 wheel hub when using these.

--The 94-02 have a larger spline diameter, requiring the 94-02 hub.

Axles are not transmission specific. They are the same whether auto or manual transmission.
Generally, the right (passenger) axle for cars that came with steel wheels is the one most likely to break. These came with a rubber balancer to dampen vibrations on that side, apparently. Water and salt tends to collect under this, weakening the axle. If pulling from a junkyard, grab an axle from a car that came with alloys that does not have this ring. I never noticed a difference
