I have a 1997 SW2 DOHC and I dont know when the last time the timing chain was replaced and I dont really have the money to replace it right now, I was wondering if it is an interference motor or not, if it is I will change it asap because I have a good size trip I need it for soon, Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Yes this is an interface engine. But!! The timing chain is metal and will last forever if the oil is checked/changed on a regular schedule. There is no scheduled change for the timing chain. Most people will change the chain, sprockets and guides when doing a rebuild on a high milage engine.
