Default After replacing/swapping out drivers seat unit air bag light is on

This weekend I swapped out the front drivers seat in my XE5. Unfortunately after plugging the under seat electrical connector and bolting everything down the air bag icon in the speedometer cluster stays on. Also I do not get the seat belt icon displayed when the belt is not secured. It is there when in before start up test mode then after start up the icon disappears.

I did not get the same exact seat, I got one without the heated feature. The only difference in the wiring is that there are no connecters for the heated seat feature in the under seat plug-in. This is OK since this is only temporary until I slip on replacement OEM covers and replace the cushions in the original seat that was taken out. With the side air bags, that should be a fun job. I did not think I was that big of a lard ass that would flatten the out cushions in these cars, but (butt) apparently, I am big enough.

Anyways, I probably should bet the car scanned and go from there. It seems one or more components of the system are not functioning. I read that the air bags now may not deploy in a crash with tis warning icon on. Well, I do not want to crash my Astra and I do always wear the seat belt.

What to do. I think it could be a bad center seat belt mount since the seat belts unfastened warning icon does not display, Or maybe not, because in the test function it does. What to do. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Either the harness is different or the side airbag is bad in the replacement seat. If it worked correctly before and you are going to rebuild and reinstall the original seat, why would you pay someone to scan the problem you caused?
