Driver side door wont open.

My driver side door on my 92 saturn sl will not open from the inside or outside. When I use the key, the power door locks will unlock on the other doors, but only seems to spin on the driver side door. I have removed the door panels, but with the door closed, I cannot get to anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Either the rods to both handles are disconnected or the lock rod is stuck in the lock position. Try removing the outer lower window reveal mldg(the horiz. felt strip) to see if you can manipulate the rods. The only other way is to break the lock assy. There is a bulletin on how to do it, but I wouldn't suggest anyone but a Saturn tech to perform the operation. Too much of a chance to put a hole in the door or break the glass. If you take it to the retailer the glass may break anyway, but at least you won't have to clean it up
