Dizzy This noise is driving me nuts!

There is a noise that's driving me totally crazy coming from the front of my 108,000 mile 1993 SC2. It typically occurs when I'm moving off and shifting into second gear. It sounds like someone rolling a section of pipe on pavement. It sounds like its coming from the front section of the exhaust but I can't be sure. Any ideas?

Cheers!

You might try checking all the exhaust hangers (the rubber should be intact etc etc) and checking all the welds in the exhaust system.

Check the bolt on the front of the cat where it meets the downpipe. I had that problem once.

Yes, check the cat. Crawl under the car and shake it, see if it makes noise.
