1997 saturn
buying a 97 saturn its a 4 door with 175000 miles on it getting it really cheap i think the owners claim it would start then not start and hasnt run for over three months so i looked at it and jumped it,,,, looks like newer batt,,3 yr old starter,,,,and same for alternator,,,, they claim you could drive to a store and come out then it wouldnt start,,,when trying to jump it it would just click then finally it started but seemed like starter wasnt dis-engaging fast enough any thoughts from anyone, would be really appriciated,,,,are they dependable cars usually thanks lumpyyy

check the battery terminals for corrosion. clean/replace as necessary.
