Having a year, model of the car helps with replies. Have you replaced the temperature sensor for the coolent? Lots of running problems if it's not working. It's a cheap fix, and a common problem. The factory one is plastic and is known to crack. You should replace it with the new brass one. Go to the How To Library search for more information on the repair. It is also abreviated as ECTS. Don't bother about the coolant sensor as it affected only the S-series cars until '01. Everyone else has the brass sensors already as GM/Saturn quietly figured this out before infecting the rest of the Saturn line.
You might have to consider a dirty throttle body needing some cleaning. Its always helpful to post all information at the beginning including mileage so 'twenty questions' are avoided. ![]()

Something else I just remembered! It Idles rough except when cold and when its warmed up the rough idle can fluctuate sometimes and you actually see a drop in RPM then it recovers again but still idling rough
Its has around 96,000 miles |

Does the rpm drop and recover repeatedly? if it does its possible you may have a vaccume leak...

Savage21, you and I have the exact same problem. See my thread I started entitled "Throttle Valve Flutter". Except for Mr. Far2Grumpy, I can't get any feedback. The vaccum leak possibility that was suggested to you may be a good lead. Have you tried to diagnose your problem by checking for vacuum leaks?

Do a compression test, or maybe partially plugged injector. What would be beneficial is to actually see the live data from the ecm for misfires if there are any.
